A beautiful story book
That speaks of love and joy wherever you look

So, please forgive me if i am sentimental

But my childhood still haunts my memory
My childhood was wrapped in sympathy
My childhood was like an empty prayer with no one to care

Oh, my childhood was sorrow running wild
My childhood, chasing an unknown smile
My childhood, crying all night long until the dawn

Wow, my childhood faded with no caress
Ended down with no tenderness
Has known so many days and nights wandering alone
