Hung From A Tree
I had waited all night
For the dying light
You wrapped your lips around mine
As my soul laid supine
I pulled down the moon
But the sky fell down too
Its the most beautiful gift to be given sorrow
She suspended the earth and created water
I sail through my dripping ribcage
The way lit by your effigy
I am dreaming of you screaming “wake up”
I am the Tree that I hang from
To receive this gift I let go
