Mama never taught me how to cook
Just clean
Never taught me how to prep
My own veggies
Can't cut through the whole tomato
Diameter's too long
Had to rotate and mess up the cut
And slice it so oblong
All I want is a real small salad
All I got's juice on my hands
The bell pepper went just fine
Is this the rest of my life
Will I never be enough
Will it always be this tough
To make a clean cut through the mess
Like this little knife unless
I had a big knife
And a little tomato
