Indigo
Driving through the indigo, rolling through the breeze
The sunlight from the window, is shining over me
With a heavy foot I'm chasing down a never ending dream
Speeding through the overtones that have been washing all over me
So while I run, while I run, will I ever overcome
This golden hour that hangs endlessly
With nostalgia on the run, from the indigo sun
Shining down, down, down, over me
Shining from above, light from the indigo sun
Comes down, down, down, over me
So I run, overcome
By the blistering heat of the sun
Well I'm chasing down a future that can never come too soon
Reaching out ahead through all the days that weren't used
As the golden hour hanging in the fading afternoon
It pushes me along as the horizon drifts from view
With nostalgia on the run, from the indigo sun
Shining down, down, down, over me
Shining from above, light from the indigo sun
Comes down, down, down, over me
I'm washing through the sunset, drifting through the bends
The indigo shines overhead
So while I run, overcome
By the rays of the indigo sun
So while I run, overcome
Will I reach the indigo sun
The golden hour hangs in the fading afternoon
Being washed out by the colors that are drifting into view
And it's shining from above, the indigo sun
Comes down, down, down, over me
