Chemtrails

You believed in chemtrails
And I believed in God
'Til they told me he'd hate me and
All of the people that I love
So I believed in chemtrails
It was easier to blame
Some fucked up government office
For all the ways I'm in pain

We'd buy water filters
And move far away down south
Build our own little cabin
At the bank of some river's mouth
Wear dust masks to the city
To buy all the things we need
Like novelty T-shirts and books about rebirth
Or some other shit to believe

And I still think there's magic
It lives at the end of a life
And I know that I don't have it
But the thought that it's out there is nice
We're gonna tear this shit down
At least we'll die trying to
And in the dust of the revolution
