Eternity
This desolate room
Seems so empty
But yet it’s so filled
With microscopic wonders and particles
Everything I see is not everything to see
I want to slip away
Into eternity
And still feel alive
Still feel, still see
Still taste, still hear
One day, I know
I can go there, into eternity
Because I, I wander by
Pass every atom
I never think of them
And I see the sun and it’s fellow stars
A reminder of my mortality it becomes
When I think of it’s futile yet glorious nature
It’s maker is mine
And I feel so alive, alive
Time passes me by, then I realize
How fast it flies
And I cry, I cry
How can I live with this fear of time?
This small life of mine
Let me slip into eternity…
I want to slip away
Into eternity
And still feel alive
Still breathe, still feel
Still see, still hear
And one day, I know
I can enter into eternity
I can’t let my life end in a blur
I don’t wanna fade into oblivion
I won’t embrace the darkness
I can’t let it happen
