Church Bells
She is a pure woman
With virtues and faults
Like a mom that leaves her new
Born child in front of someone’s door
And the faithful men that sacrifice themselves in the name of God
As every rose, she has some thorns
Her life flows with beauty
With no tragedies, with no agony
And the decisions she makes
As the sun goes down,
Lust is in the air
Trying to find one way out
Quickly she moves to a sacred door found
Her face and her body go down
Claiming for help, she’s screaming her heart out
The ecstasy of those last nights
The exposed scenes that she can’t deny
In a blink of her eyes, a father comes down
He says: “it’s time to confess now”
“Bring me back my innocence
I’m stepping in dirty ground,
Wanna be right but don’t know how
Please show me the light of truth
Where I can step, where I can move
To live in peace”
Her life flows with beauty
With no tragedies, with no agony
And the decisions she makes
As the sun goes down,
Lust is in the air
“Wake me up,
Ease my pain
‘Cause everyday is like today
Another stranger in my bed”
Like an immaculate serpent
That crawls beautifully for the lunge
That comes out at night to hunt
But later weeps of repentance
Again and again
“Bring me back my innocence
I’m stepping in dirty ground,
Wanna be right but don’t know how
Please show me the light of truth
Where I can step, where I can move
To live in peace”
