I find it difficult to look good in photographs
It's even harder when I'm standing next to you
But I'll always say yes to another pretty dress
I know I'll regret it when my credit card bill comes through
It's impossible for me to refuse another drink
Then I'll say foolish things and stress about what others think
I'll go along with whatever you want, whenever you want me to
I'll fund your friendliness, your kindnesses, your new work suit
Lead the way.

I find it difficult to small talk at intervals
It's even harder when I don't know who you are
But I'll always invest when it's time to impress
Those who question why I make forsaken art
No words will puncture the air as we are driving home
We'll stare out vacantly as if we were two garden gnomes
We'll go along with whatever they want, they'll always want us to
We'll find some friendliness, some kindnesses, a rooftop view
