I waited in the night,
By the castle gate I heard a noise,
He came out and startled me,
Grabbed my cloak and set me free

And the crows ascend into the sky,
And his piercing eyes are riding horseback through the night.)
We went into the forest,
There we saw an angel,
Burning up she wept white tears,
Disappointed she disappeared.
