The Infinite Dream
Transcend this place of salvation now
Where we return to starlight meadows
Once enraptured and then deceived
We stole the world for ourselves
Fleeting midsummer?s moon, beyond blackness
Relentless way, ancient night gone
Stolen from me, throne of anguish
Now its locked, way of eternity
Where are the dreams, the silent winds
Forgotten and abandoned, by dark lives
Lost in gateways, of dying time
Drifting vessel, to everlasting dark
The light pours forth from blinded eyes
They are facing the truth called demise
No one hears their call from the concrete cell
I watch from above but sleep below
The infinite dream
Watches over me
Takes me away
And delivers me
Horizon beckons
Lies beyond yet hidden
I can see myself
At last i am
Once there was life
Of a decaying time
A taint darkness rises in the air
To wreak vengeance and despair
War rages like a diabolical force
Spirits erupt from a world beneath
Renewed one last time
No solitude no sacrifice
Unspoken to the night
The dimmest of light
Achieve the end
The essence of life
The infinite dream
Watches over me
Takes me away
And delivers me
Horizon beckons
Lies beyond yet hidden
I can see myself
At last i am
