by the time that you've figured it out
that you know deep down inside that it's not tough…tough
when the master soon come to rule you out

some men live life like they've got nothing to lose
by the time that they've figured it out
while others live life like they've got something to prove
never satisfied living in doubt
'cuz everyday we give thanks and praises yes
for the love ones we've lost 'cuz it's not in vain
