Sometimes, I sit and wait for the sun not to rise
That's usually my best hope for a surprise
Sometimes, I run circles hoping to find something new
To see a new block of pavement
But, all that's in my eyes is of a grey kind

But, life has got one hell of an upside
With my back flat against the wall
My feet are trunks never budging
