I'm Okay

Well sister said to John, what the hell is going on? cnd all he did was turn up the sound.
He had no heart to tell her that gold is just burnt yellow, and what's lost can't always be found.
Sometimes I lose my mind and all's I needs a sign to know I'm walking in the right way.
But I won't fear the dark, cuz I can feel the spark of creation making a perfect day.

Sometimes I get to feeling blue
But you know I'm gonna make it through
Cuz I'm okay.

I'm feeling just groovy.

Well I haven't had a lot to say for some days, cuz all my thoughts are visions of you.
You take my breathe away and make me feel okay, keep my head straight and my eyes see the truth.
Sometimes you meet a man who's figured out the plans, and makes you sure in what you believe.
He says, child don't lose your shine. Just keep having a good time. Keep your voice loud and your heart on your sleeve.

Well not everything is right, and I always gotta fight between my bleeding heart and my aching head.
But if I wake with a smile that can carry me for miles, I can twist and shout until I fall dead.
We're growing up so fast, but don't you dare look back cuz regrets will turn you to stone.
