The news I got this morning
Took me by surprise
My dreams could all be shattered
Right before my eyes
I can't pretend it's easy
Getting past the fear
Yet even in my weakness
One thing remains clear

Many times before
It's really not so different
The same old metaphor
Yet even when my problems
Masquerade as light
My faith becomes a candle
Shining through the night

When struggles come and fear would rise
Because of what I see
I will keep trusting in God's faithfulness
And His ability
Yes, I choose to believe
