Most days I get up start to work
Cross the items off my mental list
Chase pay do the job put out fires
Feel productive like I should exist
But sometimes I wake up stuck in my room
I can't shake the thoughts of impending doom

Now back to my life to my work to pretending it will be ok
Not frown maybe smile even laugh
Sense of humor gets me through the day
