120 Miles Per Hour
My Chevy Nova won't go 120 no more
Edelbrock cams, it's stroked and bored
At the time, it was the only thing I could afford
But it whipped any Ford
It can't take me home no more
Up on blocks, leaves me sore
Got no shocks, wanting more
Dead
Its presence fills a void in my heart
Slowly drips out, as it won't start
Flood the pedal and fill with gas
Its last fumes, I watch pass
It won't take me home no more
Off to scrap heap, it leaves me sore
Now a sheep in wolf's clothing
Dead
Will she the rust over time?
As she sits, unsigned
Will I know that she'll go
Off to a better place
It won't take me home no more
Off to scrap heap, it leaves me sore
Now a sheep in wolf's clothing
Dead
