I hope you don't mind if I go on about the weather
Sometimes I can't think of things to say when we're together
I just want to be there
I just want to be there next to you

And I know you don't like when I go on about your beauty
And all the things that being with you now is doing to me
I just gotta say it
I just gotta get it off my chest

And though there's rain and snow
I'm happy just to know
There's a warm and sunny place that I can go
And though I'm wet and cold
And think I'm getting old
I'm glad I've finally found a heart of gold
