I've heard this knock before
Three raps against a door
The sound weak and unsure
Scared of encroaching

I heard it in a dream
The sound makes me want to scream
I’m medicated with those sci-fi potions

I stayed up late watching TV
Something old like Soylent Green
It wasn't that but it gave me notions

The show was benign about a false crime
I guess it was fine time
For some fear emotions

It chilled my spine
I thought it was a sign
That the time had moved in backward motion

It intruded dreams
My mind flеd right downstream
I'm medicated with thosе sci-fi potions

Am I here or in deep space?
Should i wake or just embrace
This heavy trance?
In slow motion
