Four Wall Interrogation
When you feel so alone that the white walls feel like the only hug
When the world is falling apart outside the window and you've lived the deterioration your whole life
When the concealed truth is hard to find
Only discovering lies, and left in amaranth fields to dance freely and briefly
The lies spelled with the petals, the world burning, the soil crumbling, the lives disappearing
What have we done to the planet
Ourselves, our freedoms, or justice to live how we were born to live?
Why is it that I'm left alone with the embracing walls, yet there's a carnival of treacherous giraffes, lions, and bears outside?
Feeling alone is now an everyday routine
