Wind Dance
You were wind upon my face, holding up my heart to see,
As I danced across your day, you were everything to me.
That was how we started being just the two of us,
Giving all our passion, to the days to come.
How could we both have known, or even noticed,
That the thread of who we were would come undone.
Like the sailor who has crossed the ocean lonely,
Having only wave and sky, to call his own,
We were destined on a course, that carried sorrow,
A journey that would leave us all alone
It is in this hour of thought and contemplation
That I dream of what would be that never will.
In my soul there lives no reason to go onward,
The silence of your heart reminds me, still
