Mother

In the womb of love, for nine moons' grace,
A sacred journey, a tender embrace.
Mother's right, profound and true,
Carried you, a creation anew.

From the juice of her soul, you were fed,
No other would give, where angels tread.
A sacrifice deep, in the silence of night,
Her whole being poured into your light.

Every limb, every part, she bestowed,
Eyes, ears, hands, and heart that glowed.
A selfless dance, a devotion so pure,
In her arms, your safety she'd ensure.

Enduring toils, worries, and weight,
Her love unwavering, never abate.
Until the mighty hand, takes her away,
To the earth, where all mortal forms lay.

She agrees to be empty, so you're full,
Her hunger, a testament of love's pull.
Half-naked she stands, clothed in your care,
Thirsty herself, but you are not dehydrate.

In the sun's heat, she willingly basks,
So you alone, in the shade, unmasked.
While troubled, you reveled in pleasure,
Her sacrifice, a limitless treasure.

Sleepless nights, staying awake,
A mother's love, no measure to take.
Forfeiting sleep, for your peaceful rest,
A guardian spirit, in love's sweet nest.

Her womb, your cradle, life's genesis,
Her house, a haven, in warmth's caress.
Breast, a fountain, where love would flow,
Her soul, a shield, in life's ebb and flow.

Enduring life's heat, and the biting cold,
For your existence, her story told.
Thank her, repay her, in words and deeds,
For love sown in countless, selfless creeds.
