The blank stood soberly and watched
How my love would collide with their usual fuss
They bring you down fast round here

And lies weaved endless hopes of you
I know you won't fool me another time
And i've been outloved before
Now the feeling is lost forever

Earth, wind, watered eyes and you
I've been dreaming out loud for too long now
I don't even know your aim

A blank stare cut through the air
And it brought back that lump of despair
I'd been waiting for
Now on the floor:
A sobbing hunk of old flesh
Has withered into this infinite mess
Is that a tear in your eye
Or just a drowning fly?
