The Man in the Moon
Nobody listens to messages sent
by the universe every day
conspiring with galaxies
warning us all
of the dangers from so far away
Can you believe that the man in the moon
just watches and cries in his sleep
and nobody hears
falling raindrops as tears
that all come from the angels who weep
Living the dream
such a difficult dream
if only we'd come here to stay
nobody knows
where sympathy goes
with life simply fading away
Once blue becomes red
changin face every year
when moonlight seems daylight
as the clouds disappear
As ice turns to water
and midnight soon becomes noon
appealing a last hope
to talk to the man in the moon
to the man in the moon
to the man in the moon
to the man in the moon
