We cling to worms
Locks unopening
Meat will spoil
Turning deafening
Beneath the soil
Birds now silent sing
For it's approach
Flesh unraveling
Beneath the boards
Feel you slithering
Across my corpse
Never blessing thee
Now cut apart
Meshing inner cold
A flame is born
Burning quietly
Words become thorns
Serpents leavening
Enclosing coil
Writhing in misery
And crude oil
