Everything To Live For

Her diary rests on the table
The candle is losing its glow
Her friends have a heart full of questions
Some of us guessed
But who could have known?

She tearfully looks out the window
The sidewalk is calling her name
Three floors to fly to her freedom
Her final escape from the pain

How could anybody guess?
Couldn't anybody feel?
The stone in her heart that was tearing her apart
From the someone she wanted to be

Now she's leaving her demons behind her
Finding her place in the sky
How could someone with everything to live for
Say the last goodbye?

Someone tell me, how can I make peace
With the sorrow that lives in my heart?
Won't someone tell me?
How can I fill the moments that we'll spend apart?
