Walk the Talk
Fire and ice it’s like rolling the dice
From the outside it always look fine but nothing sufficed
If you could feel, what I feel
You’d see it differently
I always walk the talk on my knees
Snakes to the left of me, rats to the right
I’ve been here before and I’m too tired to fight
Let’s let go it’s been a good run
Best to cut our loses here, we both know it’s done
I’ve got the shakes
It’s a feeling you hide
When you know things are broken but keep it inside
I swear to God, I took a shot
But things did not click
Seems like I get the short end of the stick
Hot flashes by day
And terrors at night
I’ve been here before and I’m too tired to fight
I say we break it off and wave our goodbyes
It was fun for a run
but let’s say goodnight
