That woman would be gone
When I would come home in the evenin'
My woman would be gone
And when I would get up in the mornin'
Boys, she'd just be coming home
I don't see well and I'm absent minded
And I hardly sleep at all
My past has put me on a habit
Of nicotine and alcohol
It serve me right to suffer
Serve me right to be alone
Seems I'm still livin' with the memory
Of the days that's passed and gone
