Midnight, silent as lakeside, dead of May
My rest is thrown
Midnight, tired eyes, I’m waiting for the sun, I’m all alone

Morning, silently hoping that I’ll die
Before the rain
Morning, frozen with worry and dismay I can’t explain

Twilight, low tide, I’m overthinking
All I said before
Twilight, online, I’m writing to all my very dearest friends

Midnight, silently smiling for myself
I haven’t died
Midnight, by torchlight, I look to the sky and say It’s alright to cry
