Where happiness was handed out, I didn't stand on line
The crowed was pushing and shoving, I was little yet
But I hope I will be fortunate
Where the road led to happiness I stood curiously
I was shoved to the side, wouldn't even let me get to see

When happiness almost cast it's shadow on me
Asked who I was but didn't come any closer

Since happiness has its price, I did not buy any
One day I said and set out on my own for it
