The Sunclad
gently her feet kissed the ground
turned snow to water
one drop in a mirror of trees
there were no leaves to hide the sky
with the bells' ringing from afar
one sunclad breath from a summerwind
icicles enchanted flew away
there were no leaves to hide the sky
her light a sun among nightshades
branches she dared not cross kept her in
ancient thorns and venom
there were no leaves to hide the sky
moon poured gold on her shoulders
silent lost light before a dead dawn
stolen by night's grace
