This is a time also of intuition

This is a time of tremendous change

They've got me living in this world disconnected from myself
I'm in a realm and I don't know which way to go
I don't know which way to turn
It's okay to make mistakes you've got to overcome and learn
My spirits in a swirl, it's like it's under a spell
I am lost and I'm trying to find my way home
The destination is internal
The music is my blueprint it's my documented journal
It's 2022, the ink touches the page
It's difficult to get a peace of mind and mentally escape
Cause there's so many distractions that keep pulling me away
But I'm accountable for me and there is no one else to blame
Self discipline, when you apply is so magnificent
The world is dualistic, you've got freedom and imprisonment
It's always bout' the balance, we can reverse the conditioning
Connect to my inner-self prioritize my time to get it in
I swear sometimes, I just need a break
To re-align myself from the system, that just dictates
We were born knowing our purpose, the knowledge was innate
But it's been intervened, derailed and we're mentally enslaved
We're dependent on this system, most are feeling helpless
I came to drop my music leave my mark like using felt-tips
Do what's right for you don't mind if they will call you selfish
Create your own dreams or you'll be living someone else's

Social media's designed to be addictive like its opium
They know just what they're doing, they know that it's your choice
Our devices are our downfall from our nature it disjoints
But once your hooked you're hooked it's so much harder to avoid
If you're determined you can swerve them, and turn them like you're Cruyff
You do what's right for you, forever striving for your growth
And even in your darkest days you should know there's hope
Detach yourself from the physical, let all of this go
Self development will be the path that's guiding you back home
