EYE TO EYE

I’ve seen the World from inside out,
I’ve seen my Planet, I swear it’s just a Roundabout…
I took a jolly ride on a merry-go-round
And I’ve been disapoointed with what I’ve found…

‘cause everything is so fragile ‘n’ dumb.
Who is in charge here, please?
Just another world’s bum!
Where are we goin’ ‘n’ what can we expect
Except to throw down our soul in a new karmic debt?

It’s true I’ve been ‘round for quite a long while.
I’ll put on my counter more than one more mile.
I’m not prepared so simply to subscribe
For memebership to the Club of a suicide tribe…

I’ll put my destiny in the hands of Love
‘n’ I’m gonna wait patiently for the Sign from above…
Just a tiny beam coming in from the stars
To show me the way thru rusted steel bars…

I gotta be on guard when it strikes me hard
If only with a word that no one heard before…
The meaning will be clear as soon as I will hear
The mighty scream ‘n’ slamming of the Heaven’s door.

I should let Coincidence decides
If anything was left for me carefully to hide
When finally I meet my Maker eye to eye
I’ll know then if I Was waving temporarily Goodbye…

I’ve seen it all ‘n’ even much, much more.
Mother Earth turned out to be a giant whore…
So, when I’m frozen and already long gone
I’ll be better off than rotten here to the bone…
