I come around to the same old feeling
Staring at the cracks in the same old ceiling
I heard a sound
Forgot to shut my door
Think I left my head on the bathroom floor

Another one of them days when I need to get away

I think the Weatherman has got it wrong again
And maybe they'll just
Put you down for things that you've never done
No offence to anyone
But I've never really liked the sun

Moved myself underground
To get away from silly people who never see me as their equal
And all the things on TV
Have never meant that much to me
They simulate reality

And I think it got out of hand
Cause I'm struggling to understand
What it takes to make it in a life so animated
Do they refuse to see that
