I once thought that love was a myth.
Something invented to sell movies to kids.
But if that's true then good sir, what is this?
It happened in one very quick glance
A short burst of coincidence or perhaps happenstance
But I prefer to believe that this, this was planned.

To have not made this decision here today.
Would have gone beyond foolish that's the least I could say.
Best friends like this only come once anyway.
To think that two souls were made,
Formed in different languages with an ocean in their way.
Would somehow find each other and the love they each craved.

So when 80 years has come and its passed.
When I can't remember your name, our first kiss or your laugh.
I take comfort in knowing that
