A lady in a green coat interrupted his day
Floating in grey water in a most peculiar way
He looked without much feeling
But the cloths behind her head
Then he realized she was dead
Life is dear and much too short
Something has gone wrong
Why should a living lady

He began to know her story
The reasons dull and grim
Despair each like a shadow
From her to him
