Floating Girl
I am here floating in my dress of straw
And this water is like rain to a lost, floating girl
I attempt to extend my transparent arms
But the waves bite and tear at my lovely gown
The frogs are now croaking and dancing around me
Their echoes are frightening, so hauntingly frightening
Since I'm so alone
Spiders often visit from their webs overhead
To laugh at me and my cold, tangled hair
But don't try to save me, please don't try to save me
For I must remain a lost floating girl
