The day is finally here
We too young to drink so we using juice for cheers
Graduation, it's been a long time coming
The race doesn't stop here, gotta keep running
This the prelude, you ain't seen nothing yet
You thought homeroom was bad, you gon' see bigger threats
Bills multiplying, taking care of your mini-me
As you evolve, certain friends become history
Probably don't wanna hear it, but listen to this
You may not finish with the ones you started with
That's how life goes, everyone has a path
And at some point, you gon' feel the world's wrath
I ain't trying to scare you, just giving you game
Expect the unexpected, keep yourself sane
I don't know what the future holds for us
But facing it with confidence is a must
It's a beautiful thing to walk across the stage
The next chapter is coming, time to turn the page
Personally, I think I'm ready for it all
Why should I be worried when I got y'all
My support system, which I'm grateful for
Some kids didn't have it and that's hard to ignore
So much potential, but no real guidance
And don't ask for help, so they suffer in silence
I've been there too, I'm familiar with the pain
Being called lame, having stress on your brain
An uphill battle that many don't win
With nowhere to go, turned to a life of sin
Everyone can't be saved, I understand that
It still doesn't mean what I'm saying isn't facts
Looking forward to our reunion, I can't fake it
But judging us now, I don't think most will make it
No matter what happens, never regress
Keep your head high, poke out ya chest
Tough times don't last, tough people do
Throughout the years, that remains true
Seen a whole lot of storms, plenty of thunder
What if I was never shown love, I wonder
Would I ever be caught in Lucifer's grip?
Going back and forth, saying things like this
If my peace of mind going, then this piece of mind showing
A few weeks later, flowers on your grave growing
Don't care about you, don't care about myself
Population in the billions, but nobody will help
I appreciate the childhood I had
Even if it was worse, take the good with the bad
