The words of the dream, come in a vision
Lying in wait, to capture their prey
They’re spinning a web of deadly deception
The light and the glory are lost in the grey
In the darkness of the days, there are brave hearts still ablaze
With a fire that won’t die in the rain
Though the tempest rages on, it’s followed by the dawn
And a song that is not sung in vain
The gathering shadows loom in the distance
How many days, til tidings bode well
I cling to the bridge across this horizon
It’s more than your dream, it’s a place we can dwell
Somewhere there’s a world, that’s free of all these chains
So far beyond our reach, but my hope remains
With everything to gain, and nothing left to lose
A victory so sweet, and no one to accuse me
