lo-fi love story poem
My eyes are as dry as burnt pies
And my heart, swims around like a lava lamp
Winnebagos make the road seem so small
But the journey upstairs is quite damned
Headlights behind me never cease to exist
Yet this journey is needed for my escape
She is needed for my escape
Smoke piles the aisles
While red eyes go wild
But teen girls never breathe room for mistake
I love my girl and her mistakes
Bubblegum and kiss me
Knives and lips have missed me
But punch me in my heart chambers again
She lives in my chamber again
Driving down the mountain
Deers have hit my fountain
But their innocence still lingers in me
She still lingers in me
Grab the box in positives
Leave the park with Oz in it
But smoke the caterpillar away
She's running away
Things have shrunk inside my head
Yet memories want to stay
Travel back up that mountain
She looks the other way
And smoke arises in me
Come to draw the blood from within me
But it was all only
Just a simple dream in the end
It's just a dream in the end
