It wasn’t so very long ago
But things are so rapidly changing;
I always questioned from whence it came
Poor little girl all out of sorts
She said
“Why does it seem like nobody is grieving?”
Nobody believing what she said
She said
“Why does it seem like nobody is sad?”
To a xenophobic room, already in a tomb…
She was so kind
As far as anybody knew;
She had some runaway blues inside though
