I see your figure hanging high like a ghost
A painting of exquisite grace
The boundless sky with faceless moons
Your celluloid shadow lingers on
A tree in the garden from time to time
The hairs upon your head standing tall and strong
Frozen in time a moment of calm
A shot rings out like a yell in the dark
Echoing then giving way to silence
Body dripping red, calm and slow
The stillness in this sordid night
