Want to put my mind on mute but it's rebuking me
Hard to distinguish who I am and who I used to be
My own thoughts betray myself, it's mutiny
Can't see the beauty of life, prefer a eulogy
The sins and disappointments of yesterday haunt me
No longer dream, just nightmares of my quandary
Can't even look back fondly, but seems halcyon
Maybe doctors got me popping too much Valium
Feels like I've got no support, ignored
Can't pick myself up like a corpse, I'm floored
The smile on my face is a forge, it's warped
My soul is scored, the mirror shows a tortured form
Can't even hide this shit no more, no camouflage
Every thought from my head is just self sabotage
Happiness seems about as real as Santa Claus
Is it too late to find myself, or am I lost?
