The Exploration
They roam the neighborhood
And a nightmarish scene befell on them
Men and women and children turned into statues
Cars are abandoned
Plants have been converted
The grass is nothing but blue
A few hundred remain, it seems
As Rainer and Madison roam the streets
There are doors padded and boarded
A few people stare out their windows
And when one sees Rainer
He can hear him scream at him
Rainer covеrs his face in shame
As he spеaks to Madison
"You need to know I never wanted this
Yes, I was going through something before I found that corundum
I was feeling betrayed by people I considered friends
And when I found that piece of corundum in that blank house
I didn't think anything of it
I took that corundum and left the house
How was I supposed to know the house was going to burn down?
I was already weak emotionally
I was easy to take over
I wish you didn't get involved
I wish I didn't attack this town
No one deserved any of that
And no one deserved any of this
And I know that isn't enough for forgiveness
But you deserve to know my end of the story."
Rainer and Madison keep walking through the devastation
Rainer sees a child staring out of a window
There is fear painted over his face
And Rainer knows it's a mix of the threat of Diamond Terracotta
And his presence alone
"I got to make it right to this neighborhood
We need to save this neighborhood, kid
Even if I never step foot in this neighborhood again
These people don't deserve to be turned into statues
Help me to make things right."
