Orbweaver
The webs encapsulating
Empty doorways luring prey
Glowing orbs surrender
In light that filters
Through cracks in mirrors
A beast is lurking
Into frame
They spin deadly
A dream between
Weaving their spools of silver thread
Familiar is the air
The lingering of beings
Oh come to me, they whisper
Through a broken tongue
Oh, melody
Guiding our movements as one
Oh, destiny
I am speaking in tongues
A symphony
Ensnaring everyone
And oh, how I see
Orbweaver
The wooden frame, its edges worn
Encasing memories that are torn
An apparition moaning on
Roaming helpless in the hall
And, in her dream, a vision gone
A hand that clutches wisps of form
And the husk of what was
Now hangs at dusk
They spin deadly
A dream between
Weaving their spools of silver thread
Glowing orb surrender
Oh come to me, they whisper
Through a broken tongue
Oh, melody
Guiding our movements as one
Oh, destiny
I am speaking in tongues
A symphony
Ensnaring everyone
