Sailing On By

I´m taking my chances i´m eager to fly
Fulfilling my hopes and dreams
And i´m sailing on by

Without hesitation with no consideration
I´ll grab opportunities
That are sailing on by

And life keeps getting shorter
I´m everyday closer to death
There´s no time to think
But it´s all the more time to act
And i´m setting my sails

Some people seem to live all of their lives
Dreaming of all things to do

They seem to pretend that tomorrow will bring
The gain of their waiting
And they´ll be sailing away

To wake up one day
Reflecting upon the time they wasted away
Not setting their sails

I´ve got no possessions, no liabilities
I´m free as the bird
While others are sailing on by

I once heard the word practice what you preach
I´m not exactly sure what it means
But i´m sailing on by
