What awaits beyond
the impenetrable
past the last heartbeat
only my instincts tell
more than flesh and blood
more than sinew and bone
our souls set forth into the great unknown
unity of all
beyond the veil of time
unique purposes
sent out by the divine

angelic beings demonic entities
Await unseen in our nightmares and dreams
Where our choices determine what is our fate
an earthly Paradise a grotesque fantasy
Lies that deceivers would have us all believe
to live unrestrained in a wilderness of pain
only serve themselves
now this world's a hell
flames consume our lives
rising in our eyes
nothingness or God

inside of different shells
the unknown realms await
past the last breath through the gates
rewards at the end of the fight
follow the darkness or light
