Untroubled Hearts

Unimaginable, unfathomable, Fighting
Anxiety, depression
Grief stricken tears uncontrollable
Heightened mind racing nightly
Barely sleeping peacefully
Right before Covid seemed more tolerable
A familiar brokenness of
Comfortable capable crushing we've learned
And all these trials of face coverings
Hands cleansing
The only hope we have been God
A belief for all our belief
Times may only get harder but it's
Faith in Jesus coming as child a reminder
All our pains he was built to suffer
To hold, And break this world of
All generational curses
A fear we do not choose
No matter the tension of any election
God's sovereignty is over everything
We livin' in times that are truly remarkable
Immeasurable grace
To discover how deep our faith is
A reminder for our hearts to never be choked
