The Rose Kitchen
There is a presence yet it's still silent
No words that give this night a warmth
Echoes from outside ringing above us
That's the only voice i hear, none other
Unparallelled mystery from the source so close
Yet i can't define the signs she brings
I know, laughter just happens suddenly
and it's not representing the joy we need
when the sunset stirs our sky
prepare for another night of wonder
Campfire built at a place nearby
tossing the flame, yellow and blue
we call it rose kitchen to start with a name
an expectation of beauty and peacefulness
still, the ashes of the burning woods
lock away the air and space to breathe
A time that is given, same time that we waste
seemingly forever blue and i feel so alone
we can't see even a little smile of joy
we can't hear even a little talks of life
Tears are now dried from my eyes
one more experience of failure is done
tonight i will be on my own again
hoping things would change... but how?
