Lost at Sea.
Andersson Donovan Lubbersen
running through a summer storm
exhausted like usual
trying to find the boy I was
scared of the shadow chasing him
I can see the tears on his face
when the tides grow larger
I tell him: "its okay to feel bad"
after all, his shadow is also lost at sea
the boy looks up at me and tells me:
"it's not the sea I'm afraid of,
and it's not you I'm running from"
he tells me:
"I'm afraid of becoming a shadow,
a shadow of the boy I used to be"
