Sick Wit It
I'm sick with it, I flirt with the nurse on the mic,
And keep the flow wet like her kittie when it purrs from the pipe,
Superb herb that I lite when I'm burning at night,
Has me surging heights, getting high like birds up in flight,
I'm a surgeon the way I slice and cut words with a knife,
And stitch em back tighter, then an uptight-virgin in tights,
The Nouns and verbs I recite get murdered and sniped,
That's why fans become fans, cause they heard it and liked,
In school, I stayed above the curve to ensure I was bright,
A nerd, who had eyes that were blurred
and for sure weren't white,
I'm sure, this all seems absurd, and I concur that you're right,
Sorry momma, I was out there, earning my stripes!
The younger version of me used to push herb for a price,
Back in the day at John Jay while I was learning my rights,
Deterring cops from securing and serving warrants alike,
To make it hard to prosecute, incase they were to indict,
You don't always get what you deserve in this life..
But fuck it, I stay determined with these sermons I write,
A rapping type of person who preaches words of advise,
Inside dope ass rhymes that I merge, til verses ignite,
I work in NYC under urban lights, with the turds and the mice,
But like the Giants, I live in Jerz, in the burbs where it's nice,
All my life, there's been a beast inside urging to fight,
I like beef pasture raised - grass-fed, burgers.. I'll bite,
Step to me if you're yearning with to fight,
Matter fact,
I got students who can take you, no burden, your light..
I teach police and civilians of all versions and types,
Empowering women to not be the next Tina Turner to Ike,
And what they're learning, has them not concerning what's right,
They train for the worst in a fight, the jerks and perps in the night,
For the day we'd prefer didn't occur, but if it were,
To be unnerved and have the skills and courage, in preserving their life
